Growing up on a farm in Christchurch New Zealand I always had that seclusion itch and after living on a boat for 10+ years in Brisbane working in the tech sector I finally got the chance to bring up my little girl on a farm. Myself and my then wife made the tree change with a lot of fear and stubborn determination not knowing how it was going to work as our whole life was in Brisbane.

After 2 years of simply cleaning the property of rubbish, we then started on clearing small pockets of the land to make it liveable again. It had not been touched in 20 years. Now I am left here loving every single second of it making the farm into something bigger than just our family but something to share with as many people as possible.

Our home is close to everything in the Somerset Valley so please come, stay and enjoy a break from the rat race for a little bit.
